Perken, Son & Rayment company was established in 1887 in London as continuation of Lejeune & Perken (est. 1852). In 1890 it became known as Perken, Son & Co. They made cameras up to c1905. At some point the company was renamed to Heath, Hicks and Perken, and finally dissolved in 1979. "Optimus" was its major brand for the cameras. |
