The Le Franceville Guiot & Cie company (L.F.G. et Cie) started manufacturing cameras in Paris (52, rue du Four) in c1898. In the beginning of 1908, Mr. Guiot sold his shares of the company, it was renamed simply to Franceville (also company moved to 20 r. St-Benoit). It's hard to say when the company has stopped manufacturing cameras, most likely it was 1922 or 1926. |
