Good day everyone,
I have inherited my father's camera collection. I am having to sell off some items to try and recover the care costs which have drained my finances.
Most have been easy to identify. But I have found a few which haven't been so easy.
This post is regarding a Wooden case Ensign folding camera. I have looked through various wiki's and lists of Ensign Camera but yet to find an exact match. Please can anyone identify the camera from the attached pictures?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Ensign Camera Identification
My guess is that this was a leathered covered camera but as the leather was probably deteriorated someone removed all the leather - do you still see leather traces/black remains of leather?
Potentially this could then be a folding ensign https://collectiblend.com/Cameras/Houghton/Folding-Ensign.html
Best regards

Re: Ensign Camera Identification
I have an identical camera but with the leather covering over the woodn frame.
It is a Houghton Ensign camera. Mine also says "British patent No 22385. 1911"
