Hi Everyone, I'm new on the forum. I'm not a real collector, I always kept my film camera since my first Nikon Ftn and now I would like to expand and give some meaning to my small collection, that's why I joined this community that is definitely much more expert than myself
Back to the point... I recently became owner of a Nikon S2 black dial in black finishing. I found very variable quotations and prices for this camera. It's clear that the camera in black paint are much less available than the chrome version but it's not clear to me if this has an effective impact on its value.
I attach a couple of photos for better description. Any comment or reference for evaluation will be appreciated.

Hi mauro, thank you for your kind feedback and my compliments for your collection. Yes indeed I found the same references you sent to me but I cannot believe the value of the black version is so high compared to the chrome versions that can be find for 3/400 USD.
May be this is a "theoretical" option with no actual reference... meaning that it's the value but nobody is willing to pay it
