Does anyone know anything about this camera and similar models which isn't already widely posted on the internet, such as serial numbering, models, uses, various concealment's used, etc.? The one I have pictured below, I believe is an S-252.I have seen several translations of the name to latin, sometimes Totschka, Tochka, Toychka, etc. I think Tochka is correct but, not sure. I'm told my model is sometimes referred to as the model B, a later edition with view finder and non-threaded lens. Not sure why the lens is no longer threaded in model B. I'm also advised my camera can accept Minox cassettes but, have not tried yet.

There is a HUGE variety of these cameras if you include all the special modifications. I have not met a list outlining all of them. From what I've seen, the best resource is http://www.cryptomuseum.com/covert/tochka/, but I bet you already know that

Diser,
Thank you for the reply. Yes I have seen the cryptomuseum website page for the tochka. I am still unable to find any example of a concelament device for them other than the neck-tie. There is very little information about their use or serial numbers. One advantage these KGB cameras had, for surveillance purposes, over the much praised Minox Riga, B, and III cameras which did not use a battery, was the mechanical motor, allowing continuous exposure without rewinding. Despite there being a HUGE variety of these cameras, I can't seem to find any more available for sale anywhere, which makes me think the value will continue to rise.
