TThe Goerz Tenax name is interesting since Zeiss revived it for two 35mm devices they prodused in the late 1930es. Both exposing 24x24mm frames the more expensive version "TenaxII" which was launched earlier than the simpler Tenax I , came with a 40mm f2 Sonnar. It had a unique distance measuring system and optional wider and longer lenses, all quite rare.
The cheaper one came with a Tessar, boith had a unique front lever needing just a push down to advance the film and cock the shutter. Quite easy and faster in use than the contemporary competition. The war brought an end to production.
