The No. 3A Folding Buster Brown camera were manufactured by Ansco in circa 1913. The camera body was made out of wood and covered in seal grain imitation leather. The bellows were made of black leather and the metal parts were nickel plated. It was fitted with a fix-focus meniscus lens or a rapid rectilinear lens and a No. 1 Actus shutter providing instantaneous speeds of 1/25, 1/50 and 1/100th of a second, plus time and bulb. The No. 3A Folding Buster Brown took 3 1/4 x 5 1/2 inch negatives (Postcard size) on Ansco no. 18A and 18B film or no. 122 Kodak film. It measured 2 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 9 3/4 and weighed 40 ounces. It was originally priced around $10.00 and that is very expensive in 1913.
